Training diary and weekly plan
Log your own sessions, set up your weekly plan and keep an eye on your load over the last few weeks.
The training diary shows everything you’ve trained in one place. It’s also where you log sessions that don’t go through your team – a run, a strength session or a match for another club, for example.
Opening the diary
- Open the menu in the top left and tap Training diary, or
- tap the ACWR badge next to the greeting on the Dashboard.
The diary is just for you. Nobody else can open it.
What you see in the diary
- Weekly plan – your planned sessions for each weekday, with the ACWR badge next to it.
- Calendar – tap a day to see only its entries. Clear filter shows everything again.
- Load – a chart of the Last 8 weeks, split into training, game and workout.
- Entries – your own entries, events you took part in, and completed workouts. Filter the list with All, Trainings, Games and Workouts.
Logging a session
- Tap New entry in the bottom right.
- Under What was it?, choose Training, Game or Workout.
- Set the date and time under When?.
- Enter the Duration (1 to 600 minutes). For volleyball games you choose Sets played (0 to 5) instead; for other sports, Minutes played.
- Optionally choose the Intensity (sRPE) from 1 to 10. Tap the same value again to clear it.
- Add Notes if you like and save.
If you don’t enter an intensity, the app uses an estimate (6 for training and workouts, 8 for a game). What the values mean is explained in Logging your effort (RPE).
Setting up your weekly plan
The weekly plan is where you note when you train regularly – strength on Mondays and running on Thursdays, for example.
- In the diary, tap Weekly plan.
- Tap Add on the weekday you want.
- Choose the type, time and duration.
- Turn on Auto-log in diary if you like.
Remove entry deletes a plan entry again.
With Auto-log in diary on, the app asks you about the planned session: How was your planned session? Choose a value from 1 to 10 and tap Save – a diary entry is created automatically. If the session didn’t take place, tap Didn’t happen.
The question doesn’t appear if there’s already a matching entry that day – for example a team practice you accepted.
ACWR in the diary
The badge on the weekly plan shows your current ACWR. Tap it to open an explanation with your acute and chronic load. It also shows how many of your sessions in the last 7 days used your own RPE and how many used an estimate.
During the first 21 days, the badge shows the progress of the baseline phase. More in Understanding load & ACWR.
Who can see my entries?
The diary and weekly plan count as health data. Coaches and supervisors with the “View member data” permission and your guardians can see your entries and weekly plan, but can’t change them. Coaches see them on a player’s profile under the Training tab – in teams with Premium.
In the web dashboard, coaches see your diary entries on your player profile under Load, marked Diary. Your weekly plan is shown there too.
